The workshop is aimed at experienced works council members and election committees who want to initiate the next works council election and appoint the election committee in a legally compliant manner.

Does the workshop replace all other training for the works council election?

Yes, with the help of the workshop and the digital election committee office, the election committee can conduct the works council election independently and without additional training.

Further training may be useful if you expect the employer to cause problems or if you want additional legal protection.

Is the workshop online?

Yes, the workshop takes place online, so you can take part from the comfort of your own home.

Does my employer have to give me time off for this workshop?

The network meeting is a training and educational event in accordance with Section 37 (6) of the Works Constitution Act, which imparts knowledge necessary for the work of the works council. If you are required to work during the network meeting, you should discuss taking time off with your employer in order to expand your knowledge.
